All moved into our new home!

We are now officially moved into our new home! It's been a crazy couple of weeks but there are only a few boxes left to unpack now. Those boxes are mainly study boxes so they aren't crucial at the moment. That will be a day off and weekend job in the near future. Also I have lots of books to unpack but they are not crucial either so i'll unpack them soon. It feels so great to be in our own home but there is so much to organise and buy. I have hardly had a moment to myself in the past two weeks with all the tradies installing the appliances and all the other necessary items. I need holidays again! I'll be very glad for my second Fridays off! Anyway back to unpacking! Actually I might bake some cupcakes!

Above are some more pictures of the house....now completed of course....it's going to be so much fun moving in....I'll have to add some more pictures of the house as it's been completed....I might even add an Animoto video showing the journey from start to finish....I look forward to updating you all on our move and settling in....off to organise getting the KEYS!!!!!!!!

Key time

Hi all,
It is finally time to get the keys and move in....our journey has been an interesting one with a few mishaps but its finally time to get the keys and move on in!!! It is really exciting  and the most amazing time of our lives. We have brought so much stuff for the new house that we now need to move which was kinda stupid but it happens. It will be lovely to move into the new house with new things! I will upload more pictures when we've moved in and keep you posted on the first few months in our new home.

Our house is nearly finished...it is very exciting....we had some issues when our house got vandalised by some scumbags...but its all fixed now....the driveway is being installed now and we had to pay an extra $400 for it because it wasn't large enough....how crazy but necessary...once all is done I will upload our photos in a few posts to show the journey from beginning to end.....hope to be in by the end of June....Yay!!!!

woah....it looks like a house

Lots has happened on our house....it actually looks like a house now....the plaster is up....the bricks are done and the cabinetry is in....it looks so awesome and I can't wait to live there....i'm so excited....I think its going to be ready by the end of May or early June which would be awesome because then we can move in and I can organise things in the holidays....its amazing how quick its all happening as there seems to be something new every week that we go and look.....the next things are the painting.....tiles and carpet....putting in all the electrical points etc....and the handles etc on the doors...the shower screens still need to go on also.....it seems like a lot but hopefully it will go quickly....even if one thing is done a week I will be happy.....I will post photos in my next post....til then

things are happening...but have had to change something

Things are definitely happening on our block now.....the fence is up, and they've mapped out the house and put the sewer pipes etc in....next will be the slab which will be very exciting cause it will give us a better idea of the house dimensions and how big the backyard is and stuff like that.....although with this good development we had some bad news today.....the laminate colour we chose for our ensuite has been discontinued by the supplier...we could have chosen a different colour but I just chose to have the same colour as the main bathroom.....no need to mess around with colours again now....I was oringinally planning on having the same colours in both the bathrooms anyway so its not gonna make a huge difference in the long run....probably for the best anyway.....I have heaps of photos to upload but I think i'll leave them until the slab goes down and we get photos of that.....more exciting....til next time....

woah....it's happening!!!!!

 Check these out!!!! It says everything is ready for site start!!!! Yay!!!! Building may start sooner than we think!! What a lovely way to end the year of 2010 and to start 2011!!

I've still got photos to upload of our block so will add them in the next few days as there may be new ones to add if we go take a visit now that it's all ready to go. Til the next post full of photos!!
